| Details: | On behalf of the Danish Government the Centre for Ethics and Law welcomes you th Copenhagen to discuss the possibility of a new convention on bioethics, concerning genetic engineering apliend in the plant and foods area. The Government believes that biotechnology has a great potential and can be beneficial to our societies, but that it should be used with care and respect for the vulnerable life. The Government hopes the conference will result in recommendations of ethical principles and themes which can bring the discussion on biotechnology in the plant and foods area a step forward. |
