Details: | Utrecht University (The Netherlands) offers a one year Master?s programme in Applied Ethics, starting in September 1st, 2005. The programme is aimed at students from various backgrounds (for example medicine, veterinary medicine, biology, philosophy, theology or law), who have completed a bachelor (or a comparable programme) and have developed basic academic competence in ethics. The programme focuses on the interaction between moral practice and ethical theory. The courses are English spoken. Foreign students are most welcome. In co-operation with the Universities of Linköping and Trondheim, the Master in Applied Ethics is also offered as an Erasmus Mundus programme, which means that non-European students can apply for Erasmus Mundus scholarships.
