The role of the DRZE is the central and comprehensive collection and provision of documents and literature in the fields of ethics in the life sciences and related aspects in the fields of law, social and natural sciences. Moreover, the DRZE provides reliable and relevant up-to-date information - both at national and at international level - in the form of various print publications as well as online publications and services.
The task of the DRZE is to meet the needs of interdisciplinary research and teaching efforts in the fields of the life sciences, medicine, ethics and the law. Apart from this the DRZE seeks to provide assistance to sound opinion and judgement formation in politics, society and the media.
The DRZE services are available through its modern reference library in Bonn as well as its manifold online documentation and information services and services supplied by the centre's own research department. |
