The Ethox Centre is an academic centre in the University of Oxford Division of Medical Sciences. The Centre aims to improve the care of patients by (i)enhancing the skills of professionals in the fields of ethics and communication skills (ii)helping organisations involved in the delivery of health care to promote high ethical standards.
The research activity of the Centre is divided into five research programmes. They are: Genetics and Society; Clinical ethics; Resource-allocation and priority-setting; the consultation in health care practice; and , Neurosciences and Mental Health.
