Description: |
IEPPP is a new multidisciplinary Institute which brings together academics with expertise in philosophy and the social sciences. It specialises in researching public and policy-world understandings of environment, new technologies and the genetic revolution, and offers a range of opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate study. The Journal 'Bioethics' is also edited from here and all IEPPP members are part of the new ESRC 'Centre for the Economic and Social Aspects of Genomics' (CESAGen).
We are also a partner in the Wellcome Trust 'Bioethics Today' Project (http://www.bioethics-today.org). Richard Twine is responsible for the 'Animal Ethics' and 'Social Science Approaches' section of this web-site. He also writes an online weekly ethical commentary for this project.
